Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

You may have some questions about the estimates and repair processes at Avon Body Shop and Service Center. See below for more information about these services.
  • Repair estimates will vary. A lower estimate may not include necessary work, such as front or rear-wheel alignments or re-aiming your headlamps
  • You are not required by law to get multiple estimates
  • You may have the repairs completed at the shop of your choice and are not required to use a shop chosen by a claims adjuster. However, you are required by your policy to allow your insurance provider a reasonable amount of time to inspect the damages prior to any repairs. You should choose a body shop, not an estimate price; only you can authorize any repairs
  • Your insurance company will want your vehicle properly repaired. They will want your complete satisfaction with their claim service. You should always know your specific rights and obligations. Make sure to review your policy. If there is anything you are unclear about, our friendly staff is happy to assist you
  • If an agreement cannot be reached between your insurance company and your repair shop, there is an appraisal clause in your policy. This allows an independent appraiser to help resolve the matter
  • Make sure you are aware of the difference in quality between factory replacement parts and imitations or used parts. At Avon Body Shop and Service Center, we pride ourselves on our excellent parts service. We can usually have you back in your car and on the road before most body shops would even begin the repairs
  • We will provide you with a FREE courtesy vehicle while your car is being repaired. You may be entitled to a rental vehicle; therefore, be sure to call your insurance company and see whether you are eligible for either a fully or partially paid rental
  • Be sure that you understand Minnesota's no-fault provisions, because they relate to medical loss, work loss, or loss of essential services. These provisions are only available from your insurance company. The no-fault law is not related to any physical damage to your vehicle itself

for more information.

Avon Body Shop and Service Center offers you reliable, honest, and high-quality work.
